"When we sail across the ocean, do we see the depth below. When we judge by only surface, can we really ever know."The Surface Exhibition included photographs printed on watercolor paper, a performance, projected video, a music CD, and paintings. The exhibition explored the layers we wear and how we often judge quickly on "surface" levels. I also explored textures. I think my conclusion for the exhibition was the Hawaiian word "Kaona" or hidden meanings. The Advertiser Gallery Honolulu, Hawaii 2001
