Intimate Interiors

The Loudest Protester. Living in fear is never easy. The fear of being rejected, not accepted or not to belong. That is why I have joined organizations that actually would not accept me if I openly became myself. Some people think I am the most dangerous because I will do anything to hide my personal feelings. I am the one feverishly fighting to hide. I am the loudest voice to conceal my shame and self-denial. Of course I project an over confidence. I attempt to hide my insecurities. My sexual encounters are hidden and anonymous. I fight against myself like a drowning man fights against the rising tides. 38” x 32” Acrylic and oil on canvas 2010-11
