Intimate Interiors

Breaking Point. I am at a breaking point. I can no longer wear this mask. If God is going to damn me to eternal hell, he is a cruel God. If he created everything, he created this, I did not choose this. Do you really think I would choose a life of rejection? My family, friends, government and religion have abandoned me. You have no idea what the experience is like to feel unsafe in your home with parents that wish you were someone else and a world where you are bullied and threatened with violent attacks. I am not an abomination; I only want to love and be loved for who I am. 36” x 40” Acrylic and oil on canvas 2010
